General Syllabus, also known as Normal syllabus, is widely practiced in Community Club (CC), Resident’s Committee (RC), Schools and private organisations. The chart as shown below is the grading requirements of the Singapore Taekwondo Federation.  Please note that all content on this site are for general information only, if you have any doubts or questions please refer to your respective coach for further clarification.

NOTE

1. It shall be prerogative of the examiners to decide on pattern(s).
2. Interview / Taekwondo Pledge.
3. Technique demonstration shall be performed in the fellow manner:

  • Start from ‘kyorugi chunbi’ position facing the examiner;
  • Execute technique towards the direction of the examiner that is, A to B;
  • Move forward with each kick;
  • Maintain ‘kyorugi chunbi’ position after each kick;
  • Turn to face the opposite direction after the first series of kicks and adopt ‘kyorugi chunbi’ position;
  • Execute technique in that direction – that is, B to A;
  • Maintain ‘kyorugi chunbi’ position after each kick;
  • Turn to face the examiner after the second series of kicks and take up ‘Kyorugi chunbi’ position;
  • Each step will be done according to command.
